Welcome to our Help for the Parent section. That’s right – help for YOU, the parent! In this area of the site, you can find the best information on ways in which you, as a parent of a wonderful child (or children) with Sensory Processing Disorder, can cope with the difficult challenges of raising a child with this disorder.

Here, you can expect to find information on how to better accept your child’s disability, grieve your losses, and advocate for your child in the world around them. After all, it is your responsibility to advocate, and you won’t be able to do a very good job at that, unless you first advocate… for yourself!
