This is a big question for many people. Even those who have spent years treating patients for SPD still don’t always have an easy time defining the disability. Why is this? Well, in reality, the disorder is actually fairly specific, but because it affects a person’s senses, and people use their senses for literally everything in their life, this ‘specific’ problem ends up affecting a person in a very large number of ways.
